The steel protective railings of the windows were also washed away and tilted. Ma Zhanhui is the station manager of Duya Hydrological Station, and he has been working here for 15 years. When I saw him, he was about to go to the river to nail a water gauge and measure the water level.
The office has been washed away by water, but the measurement work cannot be stopped. The accumulated water on the mountain is still flowing into the river. The great flood washed away all the railings of the bridge, and Ma Zhanhui and his colleagues stood by the bridge. Under the bridge was the turbulent river water. For safety reasons, the two of them tightly grasped the flow measuring rod and inserted it into the bottom of the river. However, the first time due to the impact of the water flow, the flow measuring rod did not stabilize, so they started their second time.

In order to ensure the accuracy of the data as much as possible, there are measurement points every 5 meters from shallow to deep water. In this way, more than ten points have been continuously measured, and it is almost 1am.
Calculate the water flow rate, and after measuring the water level, measure the flow velocity. Ma Zhanhui squatted next to the bridge with a radio wave current meter, measuring one by one according to the planned points. The measured data was recorded in the computer by colleagues around him at any time. Half an hour later, the measurement work is completed, and at this time, they also need to return to the office for data processing.
After calculation, the current flow rate is within the normal range. Seeing this result, Ma Zhanhui and his colleagues have relaxed a lot.
