Wang Yi said that thanks to the strategic guidance and mutual trust and friendship of the leaders of the two countries, China Singapore relations have maintained a good development momentum.China looks forward to working with New Zealand to follow the goals set by both sides, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and further facilitate personnel exchanges between both sides.
Wang Yi stated that this year is an important year for the continuity and development of China ASEAN relations. Both sides should take the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of China's first accession to the Southeast Asian Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation as an opportunity to demonstrate high mutual trust, open up new visions of cooperation, and promote China ASEAN relations to continue to be at the forefront. The Chinese side appreciates the positive role played by New Zealand in China ASEAN relations and looks forward to New Zealand making new contributions to comprehensive cooperation between the two sides. Under the current situation, China and ASEAN should accelerate the negotiation of the 3.0 version of the Free Trade Area, jointly maintain the global free trade system, adhere to the ASEAN centered and effective regional architecture, and jointly safeguard the overall situation of regional peace, development, and cooperation.

Weiwen stated that Singapore and China maintain close high-level exchanges, bilateral cooperation mechanism meetings have been fruitful, and key cooperation projects have yielded fruitful results. New Zealand is willing to work with China to expand cooperation in various fields guided by the new positioning of the New China relationship. We look forward to opening more direct flights between Singapore and China to further facilitate personnel exchanges. China is the largest trading partner of ASEAN, and the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" cooperation has brought tangible benefits to both sides. The new side advocates mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and mutually beneficial cooperation between countries, and hopes that China and ASEAN can enhance mutual trust and jointly promote stability and prosperity.
