Jin Liwang: Walking from History and Running towards the Future
At 4:30 am on June 17th, we filmed the research team monitoring the habitat of Tibetan antelopes in Kekexili. On July 25th, at 4:30 am, we filmed the sunrise at Yuantuojiao in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, at the mouth of the Yangtze River.
From the Yangtze River source area of Tanggula Mountain Town at an altitude of nearly 5000 meters to the estuary of Qidong City at an altitude of less than 10 meters, we climbed over the Yulong Snow Mountain Glacier at an altitude of about 4800 meters, and entered the underground laboratory of China Jinping, which explores dark matter at an altitude of 2400 meters... After more than a month of traveling along the Yangtze River, we experienced the "Poetic Yangtze River", witnessed the "Technological Yangtze River", and also used drones, traversing machines and other filming methods to "cross the Yangtze River" in the form of 720 degree VR panoramic views, videos, pictures, and so on.
When leaving Kekexili, the sky was covered with snowflakes; When we arrived at the mouth of Yuantuojiao, it was scorching heat. At the moment when the rising sun pierced through the clouds and golden light filled the sea, the river flowed and continued endlessly. The emotion of walking from history and rushing towards the future is full of heart.
Hou Wenkun: First sight is beautiful scenery, and long-term observation is the warmth of culture
On a quiet late night, the Maoping Cruise Terminal of Zigui Port upstream of the Three Gorges Dam was illuminated by the lights of the Yangtze River Three Gorges 10 cruise ship. Without the roar of diesel engines and the disturbance of black smoke, tourists can quietly experience the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu's depiction of "the stars hanging over the flat fields, the moon surging and the river flowing.".
When we look at the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from the perspective of humanities and economics, the way we look at it from ancient to modern times is a direct blow to our hearts. Zhou Siyu: Poetic Yangtze River Meets Kuizhou
Descending along the rolling Yangtze River, reaching the majestic and steep Qutang Gorge, the two sides are like sharp cliffs, towering cliffs, and a Kui Gate stands tall here. Back in the day, Li Bai passed through Kuizhou with turbulent water and a flying boat, singing happily, "The sound of apes on both sides cannot be stopped, and the light boat has crossed thousands of mountains.".
Fengjie County in Chongqing, formerly part of Kuizhou, is an important geographical coordinate in the history of Chinese poetry and a key node on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River. The inheritance and development of historical and cultural resources such as poetry and poetry through innovative application have also nurtured the essence and spirit of this riverside small town. The large-scale cultural reality performance "Returning to the Three Gorges" under the night sky has become a "check-in" project for tourists; Young entrepreneurs returning to their hometowns have launched the "Drunken White Emperor" series of navel orange fruit wine through "cultural and creative+", which has been well received; A farmer named Liang Shangchuan spontaneously established the first farmer poetry society in Fengjie with his poetry friends

Hu Jinwu and Li Meijuan: Passing by the "Smiling Angel"
In Hukou County, Jiangxi Province, we boarded a patrol boat and braved the summer, looking forward to a romantic encounter with the "smiling angel" Yangtze River finless porpoise. This water area where the main stream of the Yangtze River intersects with Poyang Lake is a place where finless porpoises roam. It is like a mirror, reflecting the changes in the living conditions of finless porpoises.
We are very lucky. The ship had only been sailing for over 20 minutes when suddenly someone shouted, "There! There!" Everyone turned towards the direction they were pointing to. The gray black spine of a finless porpoise lit up in the sunlight, and then it plunged into the water.
The Yangtze River finless porpoise is a national first-class protected wild animal. "In recent years, there have been more and more finless porpoises, sometimes several at a time. Last year, there were four to five hundred finless porpoises' appearances here!" Amidst the exclamation of surprise, the captain of the patrol team, Shu Yin'an, smiled brightly.
Once far away, now returning. More and more people like and cherish finless porpoises. On the shore, the Yangtze River Poyang Lake Aquatic Biological Protection Base in Hukou County, known as the "Yangtze River Porpoise Bay," has emerged. "Smiling Angel", let us see the "smile" of the Yangtze River.
Xue Chen: A bowl of burnt noodles to soothe the wind and dust
The surging and winding Yangtze River has nurtured many important water and land transportation routes. Over time, the boatmen who used to make a living along the river and the merchant caravans who traveled from south to north have developed their own unique culinary cultures. With just a bowl of noodles, you can taste countless flavors. Yibin, the "first city along the Yangtze River", has burning noodles, Chongqing, the mountain city, Hot dry noodles, Wuhan, the river city, and Shanghai, the city of Shencheng. From upstream to downstream, there are fewer kinds of seasonings and the taste is gradually light.
We have decided to use these four bowls of noodles to tell the story of the Yangtze River. I am responsible for burning noodles in Yibin. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the laborers at Yibin Port had a meager income. They burned noodles with heavy oil, no water, and were dry, fragrant, and hot. They were cheap and capable of carrying hunger, and were deeply loved by the people. In order to shoot a short film in less than 5 minutes, I ate three bowls of fried noodles and experienced what "fried" means from my mouth to my stomach.
A bowl of Yibin noodles is enough to soothe the dust. Nowadays, for people living by the Yangtze River in Yibin, burning noodles is a way to open up a day, a taste of home, and a way of life attitude... Resilient, persistent, enthusiastic, living ordinary days vividly and "burning".
Liu Yuxuan: From the Head of the Yangtze River to the Tail of the Yangtze River, Witnessing the Flourishing Vitality
The Yangtze River, with a total length of about 6300 kilometers, comes from the mountains and flows eastward. Walking from the snowy mountains and rushing towards the sea, it nourishes the ancient Chinese civilization. Xinhua News Agency reporters filmed from the head of the Yangtze River to the tail of the Yangtze River, launching the "Looking at the Yangtze River" series of videos.
"Looking at the Yangtze River" is not only about gazing, but also about hope. In the Three Rivers Source area of Qinghai, villagers have improved their lives and are more determined to protect the source of the Yangtze River; In Chongqing, Guoyuan Port has long transformed from a bulk cargo transportation terminal into an important component of the Yangtze River shipping system; In Anhui, fishermen who have retired from fishing and switched industries are able to stay stable and become wealthy... These are all telling a new story of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Wang Chenyang: The Answer to Waves and Time
The Yangtze River nourishes the people along the coast and also nurtures thousands of industries.
Bronze artifacts from the Warring States period, exquisite Jingdezhen blue and white porcelain... These familiar or unfamiliar cultural relics record precious historical information. When I approach them, the ancestors who made or used them seem to be talking to me, telling me about the past of communication and integration. The brilliant civilization not only shines in the historical books of Danqing, but also in the empirical evidence of these cultural relics, enduring the erosion of the river and time, shining brightly.
What makes people feel meaningful is that the main building of the China Maritime Museum is shaped like a mast of sails, standing in the Lingang New Area near the mouth of the Yangtze River. This is one of the key new cities for Shanghai's development. Looking into the East China Sea from here, ships sail overseas through the mouth of the Yangtze River, writing a new chapter of inclusiveness and openness in the new era.
