In Laogang Town, Pudong, there is a village called "Dahe Village". Dahe Village not only has the resource advantage of being adjacent to the East China Sea and the Dazhi River, but also has a rich water system of 145 village ditches and houses within the village area.

In recent years, the Party Committee and Government of Laogang Town have leveraged "water" to form a water system pattern surrounded by rivers such as "Dazhi River" and "Changyan Gully", and ditches and houses. After rectification, the water surface area has reached 18%, presenting a beautiful scene of "smooth rivers and lakes, ecological health, clean and beautiful, and harmonious human water".

Changyan Gou is located in the north of Dazhi, running through Dahe Village. The construction of ecological clean small watersheds takes Changyan Gully as the main axis, connecting the natural water landscape, water ecology, water culture, rural industry, and rural tourism of Dahe Village.

Changyan Gully is also an ecological corridor of the river, with a slow walking path of 1.1 kilometers along the river and a waterfront space of 3.6 meters wide with green trees and interesting flowers and grass scenery. Aquatic plants such as banana and barracuda not only have ornamental value, but also help purify water quality, keeping the water quality of Changyan Gully at Class III all year round. At the same time, these high and low scattered aquatic plants have become places for fish and birds to build nests and inhabit.

The founder of "One Pig Breeding" is from Dahe Village, and the headquarters of the livestock and poultry company he founded is located in Dahe Village. To solve the water environment pollution problem of traditional pig farming, he established a three-dimensional resource recycling and reuse system. Through the digestion of feces and other pollutants generated in closed breeding management production through the biological chain, ecological treatment is used to turn waste into treasure, ensuring that the breeding farm has zero pollution to the surrounding environment.

On the south side of Changyan Gou is Shanghai Dahe Vegetable and Fruit Professional Cooperative. Through ecological planting and good watering, high-quality agricultural and sideline products of fruits and vegetables are nurtured here. Among them, the delicious Old Port Snow Cabbage and the thin skinned and crispy Cuiguan Pear are particularly popular among consumers.

On the west side of Changyan Gully, there is the "Dahe Village Rural Revitalization Exhibition Hall" where you must go to check in and take a closer look. Here, you can get a glimpse of the past and present of Dazhi River.

The exhibition hall displays the tools, work manuals, and wearables used by the people of Dahe to excavate the Dahe River, reproducing the scene of the people excavating the Dahe River more than 40 years ago.

Along the small river of the village, heading west, the natural texture of the village is clear, the pocket park is warm, the farmland is scattered, the village paths are clean, flowers are in front of the village doors, the villagers are simple and hospitable, and the peaceful countryside is unforgettable.

In addition, the "T-7M Aerospace Theme Base" located 2 kilometers east of Dahe Village is also a must visit. On February 19, 1960, the first "T-7M" rocket completely designed and manufactured by the People's Republic of China was launched on the mudflat of Laogang.

At the site of the rocket launch, Laogang Town in Pudong and Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute cooperate to build an aerospace themed base.
