According to Reuters, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense announced on July 14th that soldiers from the Wagner Group in Russia are training their country's military personnel in Belarus.
According to reports, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense has released a video of Wagner Group soldiers training Belarusian soldiers at a military shooting range near Osipovich.
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense said, "Warriors from the Wagner Group serve as instructors for some military subjects."
On the evening of June 23rd, Wagner Group leader Prigoren posted on social media that the Wagner Group's rear camp had been attacked, and stated that the attack was planned by senior Russian military officials. The Wagner Group troops subsequently entered the Rostov Oblast in southern Russia.
On June 24th, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement stating that all allegations of "the Russian Ministry of Defense attacking the rear camp of the Wagner Group" spread on social media under the name of Prigoren were false information, urging members of the Wagner Group not to participate in armed rebellion.

Russian President Putin delivered a televised speech on the morning of June 24th, stating that the organizers of the rebellion have betrayed Russia and will be punished for it. Russia will take decisive action to stabilize the situation. That evening, Prigoren accepted the proposal of Belarusian President Lukashenko to stop the Wagner Group's operations within Russia and take further measures to ease tensions.
On June 27th, Lukashenko confirmed that Prigoren and some Wagner troops had entered Belarus.
On July 6th, Lukashenko said in a meeting with foreign and Belarusian media representatives that there would be no risk if Wagner soldiers were deployed in Belarus.
He said, "We will sign a contract with them to clarify legal obligations, and everything will be stated in the contract. Then, at the legal level, the presidential decree will determine the relevant restrictions and scope."
Lukashenko also stated that Wagner will be happy to impart military experience to the Belarusian armed forces. "If it needs to be put into practice, we will take immediate action."
