According to an update on the official website of the Communist Youth League of China, Xu Xiao has been appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League.
Xu Xiao was born in August 1972 in Nanchang, Jiangxi. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a PhD in National Economics from Central South University of Economics and Law.
After graduating from Wuhan University of Technology with a major in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing in 1994, Xu Xiao worked at China Changjiang Power Company for 9 years, serving as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of China Changjiang Power Company.
