The latest data from the State Administration of Financial Supervision and Administration shows that as of 10:00 am this morning, insurance institutions in 16 disaster stricken areas including Hebei, Beijing, and Heilongjiang have received 262600 insurance reports, with an estimated loss of 9.81 billion yuan. Currently, 123000 cases have been compensated, with a compensation amount of 1.694 billion yuan.
