At present, Hainan uses litchi as a medium to promote industries such as "Internet plus" and "homestay+", drive farmers to increase income and become rich, and create a characteristic "rural revitalization road".

Entering the ten thousand acre lychee orchard in Yongxing Town, Haikou, the rich aroma of lychee wafts in the air. A large and plump volcanic lychee hangs on the branches, complementing the fragrance of red and green. Volcano Litchi King is one of the most distinctive lychees in Hainan, named "Litchi King" due to its large and thick skin, as well as its large size like an egg. Litchi King is planted in the Shishan area of Yongxing Town, Haikou City, and is produced in volcanic rock fissures. Its fruit weight is around 50g.

During the lychee listing season, the Haikou Volcano lychee Hongbohui sorting and distribution center was bustling with workers busy sorting and packaging baskets of fresh lychees sent by fruit farmers, and then transporting them out of the island through cold chain logistics.

In recent years, the Yongxing Town E-commerce Service Center has actively explored the "e-commerce+cooperatives+farmers" model to solve the problems of "production", "supply", "sales" and other issues of poverty-stricken households. Through activities such as internet celebrity check-in, live streaming sales, community group buying, and rural picking tours, it has increased the visibility and influence of high-quality agricultural products in Yongxing and injected e-commerce power into rural revitalization.

"This year, 'Litchi King' has been selling well and has a wide range of sales ends." Wang Jupeng, the person in charge of the Yongxing E-commerce Service Center in Xiuying District, introduced that they have adopted both online and offline marketing strategies to promote the purchase and sales of volcanic lychees. "During the peak period of volcanic lychee sales, Yongxing has achieved a daily sales volume of 3 million kilograms through cold chain sales.".

As one of the main production areas of lychees in Hainan, Xiuying District encourages merchants, e-commerce platforms, and internet experts from all over the country to promote the marketing of volcanic lychees. At the same time, through rich activities such as the "Litchi King Cup" live broadcast agricultural competition, "Litchi" music concert, and volcanic "Litchi King" competition, it promotes the production and sales of "volcanic lychees". As of June 6th, Volcano Litchi King has sold over 25.2197 million kilograms, with an average purchase price of around 11 yuan per kilogram.

In summer, the fragrant fruits float far away, and the abundant harvest of lychee brings a smile to the face. Wang Fengmei, a grower in Meihao Village, Yongxiu Village Committee, Yongxing Town, said, "The weather is good this year, and lychees are abundant this year. The price is also good, and the highest purchase price can be sold for 30 yuan per kilogram. It is expected that the sales of lychees this year will generate a revenue of two to three hundred thousand yuan."

Strolling along the lychee flower sea slow road, experiencing lychee picking, tasting specialty farmhouse dishes, and visiting ancient villages and houses... Haikou's lychee industry drives rural tourism. In Meiyue Xia Village, Lingxi Village Committee, Shishan Town, Haikou, the ancient path is lined with lush and vibrant lychee trees, with red lychees hanging all over the branches. Wang Xian'en, the leader of the Meiyue Xia Village Village Village Group of the Lingxi Village Committee in Shishan Town, Xiuying District, introduced that the total planting area of the Lingxi Village Committee's ancient tree lychee forest exceeds 2000 acres, with more than 40 existing varieties and 126 ancient trees over a hundred years old.

The lychee industry is promoting rural tourism. "In addition to the guest rooms, we also have supporting facilities such as lychee gardens, swimming pools, and specialty restaurants," said Chen Yugu, a staff member of the Muxin Stone House homestay in Ruzhang Village, Yongxing Town, Haikou. The homestay has 35 guest rooms and attracts a large number of tourists every lychee season. "Recently, one room in the homestay is hard to find.".

This year, Hainan has continuously expanded its "lychee+" consumption scenarios, launched "lychee+rural tourism", "lychee+homestay", "lychee+farm" and other formats, developed leisure agriculture sightseeing tourism and the deep processing industry of tropical fruits such as lychee, and improved the processing conversion rate and added value of agricultural products.
