US Poll: Over 80% of voters are concerned about the state of democracy in the United States. Most people lack confidence in bipartisan cooperation
On August 30th, according to a report by the U.S. Capitol Hill, a joint poll released by the Center for Policy Research and Morning Consulting showed that over 80% of voters expressed concerns about the democratic situation in the United States.
This survey was conducted from August 21 to 24, with a total of 1959 voters participating in the survey. The survey results show that 82% of voters express concern about democracy in the United States, with 40% expressing "very concerned". In addition, 59% of voters lack confidence in bipartisan cooperation to solve problems.
The survey also revealed the views of voters on issues such as the US economy and artificial intelligence. 88% of voters consider inflation as their top concern, while 84% of voters indicate that inflation has had an impact on their consumption habits and financial situation.
Meanwhile, 73% of voters are concerned about unemployment caused by the rise of artificial intelligence. 46% of voters expressed a negative attitude towards the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence applications.
