According to a report by the New York Times on August 24th, the photographers of the suspect's photos usually have no smiles. But the photos of the suspects accused of conspiring with Trump to overturn the 2020 Georgia election results are different, with the conspirators all smiling. New Times analysis shows that their facial expressions clearly express the same attitude towards the current legal dilemma: contempt.

These people strive to remain calm in the criminal justice system and historical lens. Former Trump lawyer Ellis had a smile on his face; Former Chairman of the Republican Party in Georgia, Shaffer, is no exception; Hal, Trump's bail guarantor, couldn't help but laugh; Lawyer Powell, accused of peddling election conspiracy theories, had an expression between a smile and a frown. Ellis is still posting his prison headshot online, claiming that being charged is unfair political persecution.

So far, most of the other defendants accused of plotting to overthrow the 2020 election have exposed their serious predicament. In addition to Trump, there are also 18 accomplices prosecuted in this case in Georgia, which is the most widely implicated case in a lawsuit suspected of overturning the 2020 US election results. On August 14th, when Fulton County prosecutor Willis sued these 19 individuals, he stated that if the defendant did not surrender, the prosecution would issue an arrest warrant. Willis also requested that all 19 defendants be tried on October 23rd.
