"In recent days, Harbin and Mudanjiang have dispatched more than 20 working groups and expert groups to disaster stricken areas such as Wuchang, Shangzhi, and Hailin, dispatching the People's Liberation Army, armed police, fire rescue and other forces to comprehensively carry out rescue and disaster relief." "Six out of the 11 villages in Wuchang Town were affected by the disaster, and we have been mobilizing villagers to transfer to schools since the 2nd." Jiang Tingting, Vice Chairman of the People's Congress of Wuchang Town, said that some villagers hurriedly left their homes and arrived at the resettlement site feeling anxious. As of 16:00 on the 4th, 11 districts and counties in Harbin, including Wuchang City, Shangzhi City, Yanshou County, and Shuangcheng District, have been affected by floods, with a total of 53355 people urgently relocated and resettled. At around 8:50 am on the 3rd, the ramp at the end of the Ant River bridge, 253 kilometers away from Mudanjiang to Harbin on the Harbin Mudan Expressway, fell off due to flash floods, causing a vehicle to crash. In order to ensure the smooth flow of the "main artery" of the expressway during the flood season, construction workers worked day and night and made every effort to repair it. Finally, on the 5th, the entire line of the Ha Mu Expressway was restored to traffic.
