It is understood that the newly built venues involved in the Chengdu Universiade have all reached the 2-star standard for green buildings, fully utilizing diversified technological means to achieve the maximization of low-carbon, energy-saving, and environmental protection effects of the venues, fully adopting green building materials, and reducing the generation of construction waste and pollutants; Existing venues are undergoing green transformation and upgrading, optimizing natural ventilation and lighting. All venues have replaced LED energy-saving lighting fixtures and achieved multi-level lighting control. Multiple venues are equipped with bag air ducts and VRV multi link variable frequency air conditioning, promoting efficient and stable energy consumption in the venues.
In addition, Chengdu has also invested 1340 new energy buses and more than 1000 new energy vehicles as transportation service vehicles for athletes, technical officials, and media, achieving 90% use of new energy vehicles for transportation from the Dayun Village to the central urban venue, and 100% use of new energy shuttle buses within the Dayun Village.
