Under investigation and handling, Jilin Provincial Health Commission: has paid attention to the "scalper" incident at Jida First Hospital
Can't you grab an account online, just find a scalper and add 200 or 300 yuan to get it?
Several videos circulating online recently show that Mr. Shen, a netizen, has tried multiple times in recent days to use the account of Dr. Wang, a renowned expert in thyroid surgery at the General Surgery Center of the First Hospital of Jilin University, but it still shows no account. Find the hospital guidance desk and inquire with the nurse, who provided a "scalper" phone number for consultation. This netizen did not expect to find "scalpers" and increase the price by 200 yuan before being listed on the designated expert account.
On the afternoon of August 24th, Pengpai News consulted the Propaganda Department of Jilin Provincial Health Commission about this matter. A staff member stated that they had already noticed this public opinion yesterday and were currently investigating and handling it.
Regarding the question of why "scalpers" can grab the WeChat mini program of Jilin University First Hospital, which uses real name appointment registration, the staff member stated that they are also unclear and are currently investigating. Mr. Shen, a netizen who posted the video, told Pengpai News that as of the time of publication, he has not received a response from the First Hospital of Jilin University regarding this matter.
Mr. Shen told Pengpai News that due to his physical discomfort, he tried to upload Dr. Wang's expert account from Jilin University First Hospital online for two consecutive weeks, but failed to do so. On August 22nd, Mr. Shen sought help from a nurse at the hospital's guidance desk. Unexpectedly, the nurse introduced a "scalper" to him for consultation.
Mr. Shen said that on the same day, he went to pharmacies, small shops and other business outlets around the hospital to inquire about the "scalper" account, and the merchants provided him with the phone number of the scalper. In order to verify whether these "scalpers" can really be registered, he used five different ID number to find five different "scalpers" to register respectively, and each order was increased by 200 yuan or 300 yuan. On that day, all five scalpers sent messages of successful registration. These numbers are Dr. Wang's expert numbers from 8:30 to 9:00, 9:30 to 9:30, and 9:30 to 10:00 on August 23rd.
Mr. Shen mentioned that he consulted with "scalpers" on how to successfully add a sign, and "scalpers" indicated that they were looking for "leaders" to add a sign. Mr. Shen was a bit angry. When Dr. Wang was seeing a doctor, he mentioned the matter of finding a "scalper" to get registered. Dr. Wang immediately reported the situation of the scalper being added to the hospital office.

Pengpai News noticed that the official WeChat mini program of the First Hospital of Jilin University shows that appointments can be made with a doctor's account within 2 to 7 days. Dr. Wang is a well-known expert, and the registration fee is 81 yuan. His appointments on August 26th and 29th have already been fully booked.

The WeChat mini program of the First Hospital of Jilin University also shows that there are a total of 15 doctors in the thyroid department of the General Surgery Center who can register for medical treatment. Among them, there are 3 famous experts, 2 senior experts, 3 experts, 6 ordinary experts, and 1 ordinary account. Except for Dr. Wang, who shows that there is no account available, the other two famous experts, as well as senior experts and other doctors, all show that they have appointments and can pay for registration.
Several medical staff from top tier hospitals told Pengpai News that doctors can theoretically add appointments, but generally require their own consent.
A doctor from a top tier hospital told Pengpai News that he encountered a situation where he had added a phone number during his consultations and was unaware of it. When asked where he added the number, the patient did not say anything. The doctor stated that he has also consulted with scalpers, who claim that they also rely on account grabbing, but have only mastered the timing pattern of account issuance. Another person in charge of a tertiary hospital stated that for their hospital, each doctor's number is limited and can only be added with the doctor's consent.
According to official information, Dr. Wang is the Deputy Director, Professor, Chief Physician of Thyroid Surgery at the General Surgery Center, Doctor of Surgery, Postdoctoral Fellow in Pathophysiology, and Master's Supervisor. Proficient in radical surgery for thyroid cancer, multifunctional neck dissection surgery for thyroid cancer, complex reoperation, and parathyroid surgery.
