Ukrainian threat: "More attacks will come to Moscow" drones | Moscow | Ukraine
According to Reuters on August 1st, a high-rise building in the commercial district of Moscow, the Russian capital, was attacked by a drone on the same day. This is the second attack on the building within three days. Russia called this an attempted "terrorist attack" launched by Ukraine.
Ukrainian presidential advisor Podolyak said Moscow can expect more drone attacks and "more wars.".
According to the report, the impacted building houses the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Digital Development, Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, and Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to a video obtained by Reuters, a glass exterior wall of the building was destroyed by a drone.
A consultant to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development said, "Currently, experts are evaluating the damage to the building and the condition of the basic equipment to ensure the safety of personnel inside the building. This will take some time."
According to reports, in early May this year, two drones collided with the roof of the Kremlin building. Since then, Moscow has been repeatedly attacked by drones.
Although these events did not cause any casualties or significant losses, they have caused widespread anxiety.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters, "The threat does exist, it is obvious. But measures are being taken."
"Moscow is rapidly adapting to a full-scale war," wrote Ukrainian presidential advisor Podlyak on Twitter
He said that Russia can expect "more drone attacks, more crashes, more internal conflicts, and more wars.".
