Ukraine and Israel have a quarrel, Ukrainian Ambassador "complains" Ambassador | Israel | Ukraine
According to a report on today's Russian television website, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen announced at a press conference on June 25th that the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs will summon Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Kornychuk to formally condemn his public criticism of Israel Russia relations.
According to reports, Kornychuk accused Israel of taking sides with Russia under the guise of "neutrality", claiming that "a series of controversial events have occurred since early 2023 and there has been almost no humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.".
Kohenne criticized the Ukrainian ambassador's "harsh" remarks, refuting that "despite the complex relationship with Russia, Israel has been on Ukraine's side since the beginning of the war, openly supporting its territorial integrity and sovereignty, and voting to condemn Russia in international forums."
He continued, "Israel has provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine in an unprecedented way." He pointed out that this year's total aid will even exceed last year's 80 million new shekels.

According to reports, in addition to complaining about insufficient financial aid, Kornychuk also posted that Kohenne's visit to Kiev in February was "fruitless" and accused Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of designing "completely fictional and speculative assumptions" to justify refusing to provide weapons to Ukraine.
Netanyahu said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post last week that he is "concerned" that any weapon system provided by Ukraine may eventually fall into Iran's hands and be used against Israel.
Netanyahu insisted, "This is not a theoretical possibility... In fact, we have now discovered Western anti tank weapons on the border. So we must be very cautious in this regard." Kornychuk dismissed these concerns, denying that these weapons were recently brought from the Ukrainian front line.
