The latest news shows that Zeng Pai, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Qianhai Cooperation Zone Party Working Committee, and Secretary of the Nanshan District Party Committee, has been appointed as the Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of China Resources Financial Holding. Yu Gang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, has been appointed as the Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of the Guangdong Provincial State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

On August 3rd, China Resources Finance held a business analysis meeting for the first half of 2023, where Zeng Pai appeared as the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Resources Financial Holding and delivered a speech.

According to his official resume, Zeng Pai previously served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Secretary and Director of the Party Group of the Shenzhen Qianhai Shekou Area Management Committee of the China Free Trade Zone, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, and Director of the Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Management Bureau.

According to the official resume, Zeng Pai, male, born in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province in October 1971, started working in June 1994 and joined the CPC in May 1997. He has an on-the-job postgraduate degree, a doctor of management, and a senior economist.

The Hong Kong entity China Resources Financial Holdings Limited was established in 2009, and the domestic entity China Resources Financial Holdings Investment Limited was established in Shenzhen in 2016. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Resources Group. Our business covers areas such as banking, trusts, asset management, equity investment, financing leasing, insurance brokerage, and public funds. Zeng Pai is not the only member of the Shenzhen Standing Committee who has recently undergone a job change.

According to the "Appointment and Removal of Staff by the People's Government of Guangdong Province" released on the official account of the Guangdong People's Society on July 27, Yu Gang was appointed as the director of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangdong Province.

Prior to the official announcement, on the afternoon of July 6th, Yu Gang visited and comforted Zheng Kangming, the first general manager and centenary party member of Yuehai Holdings Group, and Chen Qisen, the first president of Tianhe City, in his capacity as the party secretary and director of the Provincial State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. According to public data, Yu Gang, male, Han nationality, was born in April 1969 in Fengshun, Guangdong Province. He joined the CPC in July 1992. He graduated from Xiangtan University in English language and literature with a college degree, a master's degree in business administration for senior managers, and a senior economist.

Yu Gang has been working in Shenzhen before, serving as the Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of Shenzhen Bus Group Co., Ltd., the Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shenzhen, and the Deputy Mayor and Party Member of the Shenzhen Municipal Government. In 2022, Yu Gang served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, until this job transfer.
