To restore rationality, the US can inject stability into bilateral relations
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently announced in an interview with CNN that the United States is trying to consolidate "communication channels" with China, avoid conflicts between the two major countries, and "inject some stability into the bilateral relations".
If what he said is true, the Biden administration should strive to translate these words into action. It is precisely the United States that overreacted and took extreme actions in the so-called "balloon incident" that hindered communication between the two sides. Today, thanks to the efforts of both sides, the communication between the two sides has been strengthened, as evidenced by the recent visits to China by three senior US officials, including Antony Blinken himself.
However, given that the United States likes to say one thing and do another, it needs to make more efforts to promote further improvement in the relationship between the two countries.
At the Shangri La Security Dialogue in June, the defense ministers of the two countries did not hold a meeting, and the United States was full of complaints and complaints about this, but it was entirely self inflicted. The United States should first lift unreasonable sanctions, eliminate artificial obstacles, correct mistakes, demonstrate sincerity, and create necessary conditions and appropriate atmosphere for high-level military exchanges between the two sides.
The current difficulties in China US relations are entirely caused by the US side. China did not provoke a trade war, nor did it suppress the development of American technology companies, nor did the Chinese military engage in so-called "freedom of navigation" operations along the coast of the United States; China has not interfered in the internal affairs of the United States, nor has it created something out of nothing, promoting countries to "reduce risks", nor has it reshaped its supply chain to exclude other countries.
If the United States feels that its leadership position is threatened, then it should take active action and unite countries to achieve the goals of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, because this is the common challenge faced by countries around the world.

There are too many problems in the world that need to be solved, and Washington doesn't need to fabricate lies or threats. The tension between the United States and China is actually the result of its domestic political struggles. For a long time, Washington has regarded China as a scapegoat for America's predicament, inciting anti China sentiment and causing constant turmoil. The US government should seriously reflect and restore rationality in order to improve communication, manage differences, and stabilize bilateral relations.
