In the first half of 2023, China's shipbuilding industry completed 21.131 million deadweight tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.2%; The new order volume was 37.669 million deadweight tons, a year-on-year increase of 67.7%; The handheld order volume was 123.77 million deadweight tons, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%, ranking first in the world in all three major indicators.

In the second half of this year, the first dual fuel vehicle transport ship will be delivered to Norwegian shipowners. Due to the fast delivery time, excellent product quality, and the rapid increase in demand for automotive transport ships this year, Guangzhou Shipbuilding International has successfully secured 25 orders through this ship's "trial run", achieving a leap from "zero" to holding orders of the same type of ship and becoming the world's number one.

In addition to automobile transport ships, Guangzhou Shipbuilding International also has a luxury passenger roll on/roll off ship that has won the international authoritative "Best Technology and Design Award". It has recently entered the final stage of construction and is expected to be delivered in the second half of this year.
