25 leading drivers returned to their original units
According to Jiangxi Daily, since the beginning of this year, Nanchang City has made leading cadres and drivers a key target of supervision, urging and promoting leading cadres and responsible departments to strictly shoulder their responsibilities and manage their jurisdiction, and jointly prevent and control "driver corruption". 589 leading cadres and bus drivers in the city have received anti-corruption talk education.

These full-time drivers have been following their leaders for over a decade, and wherever the leaders are transferred, the drivers also follow them, even if they are only on secondment. As people around the leaders, some of these drivers are as close as family to the leaders, and some even act as representatives of the municipal government.
Power and identity bring rent-seeking space, and the alienation of the secondment system is where officials are transferred and drivers are brought.
