Thousands of miles away, with an average depth of 80 meters underground, the builders of China Railway 14th Bureau are sweating profusely inside the Shantou Bay Tunnel, a controlled project of the Guangzhou Macau Port Railway Bridge and Tunnel Department. The Shantou Bay Tunnel has a total length of 9965 meters and is the first railway undersea tunnel in China that combines passenger and freight lines. Jin Lubing said that welding the waterproof steel plates is a key node in the waterproofing project at the entrance of the garage and an indispensable process before pouring concrete. "The renovation of shantytowns can improve the living conditions of more than 4000 villagers in two villages. I do my job well, endure some heat and hardship, but my heart is very satisfied," said Jin Lubing.

The hot weather and tight electricity usage make it the busiest time for electricity workers. Early on the 24th, in Cuikuang Community, Sanyuan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, Li Qifeng, the leader of the distribution and maintenance team of State Grid Xianyang Power Supply Company, and his colleagues began conducting an electrical fire hazard investigation on the community.

"The heat and power grid has a high load in the weather, and the insulation of power lines is prone to aging. The switch contacts also heat up, which can easily cause electrical fire accidents. Cuikuang Community is the 62nd residential community investigated by Li Qifeng and his colleagues.
