At 2am this morning, Typhoon Tali, the fourth typhoon of this year, strengthened from tropical storm level to severe tropical storm level. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that the typhoon center will move northwest at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity, and make landfall along the coast from Taishan in Guangdong to Wenchang in Hainan on the night of the 17th. It will enter the Beibu Gulf on the 18th and then move towards the northern coast of Vietnam and the coast of Guangxi.
The National Flood Control Administration has decided to launch a Level 4 emergency response for flood and typhoon prevention in Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan provinces and regions at 13:00 on the 15th, and has dispatched a working group to Guangdong to assist and guide local efforts in typhoon prevention.

Among them, most of the South China Sea, the western part of the Bashi Strait, the eastern coast of central Guangdong, Xisha, Zhongsha, Dongsha, Nansha, and the sea near Huangyan Island will have strong winds of force 6-7.
