According to Agence France Presse, Iranian official media reported that Iranian President Said Ibrahim Lech and French President Emmanuel Macron had a lengthy phone conversation on the 10th to discuss ways to promote bilateral relations.
According to reports, the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency quoted Mohammad Jamhidi, Deputy Director of Political Affairs in the Office of the Iranian President, as saying, "The two sides have discussed how to promote relations, especially ongoing negotiations and regional development."
Jamshidi also said, "They have reached an agreement on the contact roadmap." He stated that the call lasted for 90 minutes.
The report also stated that Macron called on Iran to "immediately stop supporting" Russia in the Ukraine war and stop providing drones to it.
According to a communique, the French head of state "reminded Iran to provide unmanned opportunities to Russia, which could lead to serious security and humanitarian consequences.".
According to the French Presidential Office, Macron also expressed concerns about the current progress of Iran's nuclear program and reiterated France and its European partners' willingness to seek a diplomatic solution to this issue.
