There are scene simulations and representative lectures... Tang Town primary and secondary school students have an immersive experience of the entire process of people's democracy
"Classmates, welcome to the Tang Town People's Congress Representative Home. Next, we will lead everyone to a simulation lesson on the election of People's Congress representatives, which includes on-site simulation of voter registration, voting, and constitutional oath taking..." This opening speech is from the "immersive" scenario simulation lesson created by the Tang Town People's Congress for primary and secondary school students in the town.
In order to deeply implement the development of full process people's democracy proposed by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and better promote and popularize the people's congress system and the idea of full process people's democracy among primary and secondary school students, the Tang Town People's Congress actively explores and signs agreements with 7 primary and secondary schools in the region. The Tang Town People's Congress has established a full process people's democracy education and practice base in the town's congress representative's home, and has set up simulation classes for the election of people's congress representatives and the whole process people's democracy scene in the base, allowing children to experience the full process of people's democracy practice from a "zero distance".
For this scenario simulation course, the People's Congress of Tang Town has compiled its own textbooks, focusing on key aspects such as the system of the People's Congress, the election of National People's Congress deputies, and the entire process of people's democratic practice. It has designed and launched a "National People's Congress Representative Election and the Whole Process of People's Democratic Scene Simulation Course", relying on various carriers such as social practice and thematic research, and regularly arranges National People's Congress deputies to give lectures to primary and secondary school students.
This simulation class mainly focuses on simulating the election of National People's Congress representatives, including the entire process and various stages of representative elections, which are introduced to students by National People's Congress representatives. At the same time, utilizing the existing scene of the Tang Town People's Congress Representative House, the simulation class allows students to participate in three scenarios: voter registration, voting and election, and constitutional oath taking, in order to better experience the embodiment of people's democratic thinking throughout the entire process of the People's Congress representative election process.
The scene simulation class has been arranged twice a week for students since April this year, and currently more than 600 students have participated. In addition, the People's Congress of Tangzhen will also record simulated lessons into videos and send them to ideological and political classes in various primary and secondary schools in Tangzhen, allowing the concept of "full process people's democracy" to enter the campus and be rooted in the hearts of primary and secondary school students.
A student said, "Through the scenario simulation class, we had an immersive experience of voter registration, voting, and constitutional oath taking, which gave us a practical understanding of the election of National People's Congress deputies and an understanding of the concept of people's democracy throughout the entire process."
The person in charge of the People's Congress of Tangzhen expressed the hope that through the approach of "inviting students in and providing resources to their doorstep," Tangzhen primary and secondary school students can have an opportunity to participate in and understand the entire process of people's democracy, vividly promote and explain the institutional advantages of China's People's Congress system, cultivate political identity, institutional confidence, and democratic consciousness among primary and secondary school students from an early age, cultivate patriotism, and further create a strong atmosphere for the development and practice of people's democracy throughout the entire process.
Next, the People's Congress of Tangzhen will further improve the content and practice of simulation courses, play the role of grassroots people's congress representatives, rely on the Tangzhen Primary and Secondary School People's Democratic Education Practice Base, better promote and popularize the people's congress system, and vigorously create a strong atmosphere of development and practice of people's democracy throughout the entire process.
