At the same time, it is required that member units of the Water Resources Department of Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Guangxi, and Guizhou provinces, as well as the leadership group for water and drought disaster prevention of the Yangtze River Commission, as well as the flood control and drought relief command headquarters of the aforementioned provinces, further implement the important instructions of the State Council leadership and the work requirements of the National Flood Control Administration and the Ministry of Water Resources, consolidate the responsibilities of all parties, strengthen monitoring, forecasting and early warning, scientific scheduling of water engineering, and inspection and defense of water engineering. Special attention should be paid to the prevention of floods and mountain floods in small and medium-sized rivers, and effectively do a good job in preventing and responding to heavy rainfall.
