The World Tourism City Ranking has been released! China's Three Cities Rank in the Top Ten
As one of the ten peak forums of the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the 2023 World Tourism Cooperation and Development Conference was held on September 2 at the National Convention Center in Beijing.
The conference focused on the theme of "New Trends, New Forms of Business, and New Consumption to Create New Prosperity in Culture and Tourism", with over 350 representatives from 30 countries and regions attending. The conference identified new demands and hotspots in the global tourism market, and focused on exploring new forms of business and consumption in the development of tourism cities.
The World Tourism Cooperation and Development Conference released the World Tourism City Development Report. The report conducts a scientific and comprehensive analysis of 100 sample cities worldwide from six perspectives: city reputation, industrial prosperity, urban intelligence, tourism safety, economic contribution, and tourist satisfaction. It comprehensively and vividly displays the development characteristics of the world's major tourism cities and tourism industry in 2022, providing decision-making references and case support for the tourism industry to adapt to new situations, develop new formats, and formulate new strategies.
In the 2022 World Tourism City Development Top 20 Cities Ranking released on the 2nd, Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong ranked 7th, 8th, and 9th respectively.
