The US Department of Commerce has removed 27 Chinese entities from the list
According to the official website of the Industrial and Security Bureau, a subsidiary of the US Department of Commerce, on the 21st local time, the department issued a statement stating that the US Department of Commerce has decided to remove 33 entities from the "unverified list", including 27 entities located in China.
In addition, the removed list includes other entities located in Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates.
The statement stated that this decision was announced on the 21st local time and will take effect after being published in the Federal Register on the 22nd local time.
"We have removed 33 entities, which indicates that a company or its host government can gain tangible benefits when cooperating with the Industry and Security Agency and successfully completing end-use inspections," said Axelrod, Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement at the US Department of Commerce
On February 7, 2022, the US Department of Commerce listed 33 Chinese entities on the "unverified list" of export controls. In response to this, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce stated that the US has included Chinese entities in the "unverified list" on the grounds of "inability to satisfactorily complete end-user visits, resulting in unverified integrity." China firmly opposes this.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has stated that in recent years, the United States has used export controls as a tool for political suppression and economic bullying, continuously taking unilateral measures to suppress and contain foreign enterprises, institutions, and individuals, creating difficulties and obstacles for normal economic and trade cooperation between Chinese and American enterprises, causing serious damage to the international trade order and free trade rules, and posing a serious threat to the global industrial and supply chains. This is not conducive to China, the United States, and the entire world.
