The United States pieced together "small circles" to incite division and confrontation
On August 18th local time, leaders of the United States, Japan, and South Korea held talks at Camp David, a presidential resort located in Maryland, USA. The United States is pushing for this meeting with the aim of gathering a closed and exclusive "small circle", inciting division and confrontation, tying Japan and South Korea to their "Indo Pacific chariot", making both countries a tool for the United States to contain China and maintain regional hegemony, which will seriously threaten peace, stability, and prosperity in the Asia Pacific region.
In recent years, the United States has resorted to all means to contain and suppress China, fabricated various lies to conceal their true intentions, and has rarely acknowledged them. This Camp David meeting, the United States is once again playing this trick. The White House claims that the Camp David talks are not seeking to isolate China, but rather "ensuring prosperity, peace, and stability in Asia.". But the themes discussed by the three parties are enough to prove that the White House is full of lies.
The three countries also proposed to pilot a "supply chain early warning system", prioritizing the establishment of early warning mechanisms in key minerals, new energy batteries, and other fields. This is undoubtedly a measure taken by the United States to lure Japan and South Korea to "decouple and break the chain" with China.
Compared to the White House's desire to cover up, the American media expressed this very bluntly. The Wall Street Journal directly pointed out that the US, Japan, and South Korea are determined to confront China and North Korea. The focus of this meeting is to promote stronger security and economic cooperation between the United States, South Korea, and Japan in response to North Korea's nuclear threat and China's influence in the Pacific region, according to the Associated Press.
The Camp David talks also proposed the establishment of a clear and fixed tripartite summit mechanism. In recent years, the United States has strengthened its "Indo Pacific strategy", causing frequent incidents and provoking conflicts in the Asia Pacific region, which has been widely opposed by regional countries. The United States plans to establish a tripartite alliance between the United States, Japan, and South Korea in order to make Japan and South Korea the "pawns" of the United States in maintaining regional hegemony, and to institutionalize the use of the two countries to alleviate its own pressure.
If Japan and South Korea are left at the mercy of the United States, their own interests will be seriously damaged. Both countries are also concerned about this domestically. Visiting Professor Izuki Nishimoto of East Japan International University pointed out that the United States needs to link the long-standing opposition between Japan and South Korea, form the so-called "Northeast Asia Alliance", intensify the confrontation between Japan and South Korea and other Asian countries, and enjoy the benefits of fishing for itself. Japan and South Korea are just pawns for the United States to maintain its hegemonic position in Asia. The Korean National Daily reported that the South Korean government disregards history and promotes the dangerous gambling of quasi alliance between South Korea and Japan without convincing public opinion, which is difficult for South Korean society to accept.
The Camp David talks once again made the international community see how the United States is trafficking security anxiety and inciting confrontation in the Asia Pacific region. The Asia Pacific region is a highland for peaceful development and a hot land for cooperative development. Introducing factional confrontation and military groups into the Asia Pacific region is against the trend of the times and has no benefits but harms the regional situation. Regional countries should have a clear understanding and full vigilance against this.
