On the 6th local time, the Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces exchanged fire in the Sudanese capital Khartoum and its surrounding areas. The two sides are engaged in fierce competition around the armored headquarters in southern Khartoum and the engineering headquarters in southern Entuman, both of which have been surrounded by rapid support forces.
The Rapid Support Force stated on the 6th that it repelled attempts by the Sudanese Armed Forces to break out and caused significant personnel damage to the opponent. The Sudanese Armed Forces, on the other hand, stated that they repelled the attack of the Rapid Support Force on the armored headquarters. Meanwhile, the engineering headquarters in the southern part of Entuman has been besieged by the rapid support forces for several days, but the Sudanese armed forces within the encirclement have strong firepower and the rapid support forces are unable to break through the defense, resulting in a stalemate between the two sides.

The intense fighting between the conflicting parties resulted in a widespread interruption of network and communication in the capital area in the early morning of the 6th, which lasted for more than ten hours. Local residents also reported that both sides of the conflict have implemented an unannounced curfew in their respective controlled areas, prohibiting residents and vehicles from traveling from 10pm to 6am the next day.
