Among them, the national fiscal education budget was 4847.8 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8% compared to the previous year.
In 2022, the total investment in preschool education, compulsory education, high school education, and higher education in China was 513.7 billion yuan, 2680.1 billion yuan, 955.6 billion yuan, and 1639.7 billion yuan, respectively, an increase of 3%, 6.7%, 8.5%, and 6.2% compared to the previous year; The total expenditure on education per student in kindergartens, ordinary primary schools, ordinary junior high schools, ordinary high schools, secondary vocational schools, and ordinary higher education institutions across the country has increased compared to the previous year, with growth rates of 7.3%, 5.2%, 3.6%, 2.8%, 1.2%, and 1.3%, respectively.
