CCTV News: Today, the latest data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that in the first half of the year, China's shipbuilding industry ranked first in the world in all three major indicators, with new orders accounting for 72.6% of the international market share, continuing to maintain a leading position.
Data shows that from January to June this year, China's three major indicators of shipbuilding completion, new orders, and handheld orders were 21.13 million deadweight tons, 37.67 million deadweight tons, and 123.77 million deadweight tons, respectively, accounting for 49.6%, 72.6%, and 53.2% of the world's total, and 47.3%, 67.2%, and 46.8% of the corrected total tons, respectively, ranking first in the world. China has also become the only country to achieve comprehensive growth in all three indicators.
