The "technological style" in the Universiade Village (welcoming the Universiade exhibition) is green. From Intelligence | Technology
Recently, various delegations participating in the Chengdu Universiade have successively arrived at the Universiade Village located at Chengdu University. Until the village is closed on August 11th, the Universiade Village will provide 24-hour security services for participating athletes and team officials, becoming a beautiful home of "safety, comfort, green, wisdom, and excitement". From smart living to green transportation, the application of various technological products has adorned the Dayun Village with a "technological style".
Entering the welcome center of the Dayun Village, the service desk is filled with "black boxes" to build a bridge of communication. This is the Dayun Village Intelligent Translation and Intercom System, equipped with a new generation of AI translation and barrier free communication system. It adopts multiple globally leading artificial intelligence technologies such as neural network machine translation, speech recognition, semantic understanding, and speech synthesis, and can provide online translation, text conversion, and speech synthesis services for 83 languages. This system will run through the communication network within Dayun Village, enabling "line to line" barrier free communication no matter where you are.
The two robotic arms dance steadily, grinding, filtering, injecting water, brewing, and pulling flowers... The "robotic barista" has attracted admiration. Eight intelligent unmanned coffee machines have been installed in Chengdu Dayun Village and are open to everyone for free. The coffee machine can not only make various types of coffee such as lattes and cappuccinos, but also customize the Universiade emblem as a floral pattern.
On a scorching summer day, volunteers were given a refreshing drink with a cooling ice vest made of new materials. With the help of technology, vests can adjust temperature differences by storing and releasing latent heat, absorb or release heat through their own phase transition, and form a relatively constant microclimate around clothing based on changes in environmental temperature. Just put the inner core in the refrigerator half an hour in advance, and the wearer can enjoy two hours of portable air conditioning.
In the Chengdu Universiade Village, technology brings constant surprises. Athletes who happen to have their birthdays during the Universiade can receive an exclusive 3D realistic figurine. The "3D Photo Studio" in Dayun Village can take 800 all-round photos of people in 3 seconds, use cloud modeling technology to generate 3D digital models of people, and transfer them to a full-color 3D printer to print high-precision character images. Handmade figurines not only have realistic movements, expressions, and clothing, but even hair strands are clearly visible.
