According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean Presidential Office released a press release on July 8th stating that the first meeting of the South Korean US nuclear consultation group will be held in Seoul on July 18th. The meeting will discuss information sharing, consultation mechanisms, joint planning, and implementation plans to strengthen deterrence against North Korea's nuclear program.
According to reports, Kim Tae hyo, the first director of South Korea's National Security Office, and Kurt Campbell, the Asia Pacific Coordinator of the US National Security Council, as well as Kara Abercrombie, the Coordinator of Defense Policy and Arms Control, will jointly chair the meeting.
The Presidential Office stated that this meeting aims to implement the Washington Declaration jointly issued by South Korean President Yoon Seok yeol and US President Biden during his state visit to the United States in April this year. I look forward to holding regular meetings in the future to strengthen the extended deterrence execution capability of the combination of US military power, including nuclear power, and South Korean military power.

According to reports, the South Korea US nuclear consultation group holds four meetings annually, and the results of the meetings will be reported to the presidents of both countries.
