In the actual exercise process, the naval tactical group will work together with the naval aviation to search and track hypothetical enemy submarines, and conduct disposal exercises on surface and air targets, including missile and artillery strikes. In addition, participating officers and soldiers will also practice the organization and implementation of ship formation air defense tasks. The exercise will involve over 60 combat and supply vessels, approximately 35 naval aircraft, multiple coastal defense forces, and over 11000 soldiers.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated, "The fleet's forces have completed deployment in designated areas and are beginning to conduct live combat exercises."
Russian Navy Colonel Vasily Dandekin said, "Russia is a great power that not only has interests in the west and south where it conducts special military operations, but also in the east."
Dandekin said, "The exercise in the Pacific was conducted by the newly appointed commander of the fleet, Victor Lina, after the fleet underwent a surprise inspection. It was a very large-scale exercise, and everything was very serious. That direction is very important. Today, the tension created by the United States against us can be felt everywhere. We should not forget our partnership with China." He also said, "European countries are also conducting exercises in the Baltic Sea now. We observe and evaluate in the Baltic Sea."
