The reporter learned from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. that in order to accelerate the research and development of new products for the Fuxing high-speed train with higher speed, safety, environmental protection, energy conservation, and intelligence, China National Railway Group has organized performance verification tests of new technology components on the Fuqing Quanzhou section of the Fuzhou Xiamen high-speed railway under higher operating speed conditions.
On June 28th, at the Meizhou Bay Cross Sea Bridge, the test train ran at a single speed of 453 kilometers per hour and a relative intersection speed of 891 kilometers per hour. On June 29th, at the Haiwei Tunnel, the test train ran at a single speed of 420 kilometers per hour and a relative intersection speed of 840 kilometers per hour, effectively verifying the performance of new technology components. All indicators performed well, marking a milestone in the development of the CR450 high-speed train and laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the CR450 technology innovation project.
The person in charge of the Science and Information Technology Department of China Railway Group introduced that the "CR450 Science and Technology Innovation Project" is a major scientific research project determined by the 14th Five Year Plan of the country, including the development of new products for the Fuxing high-speed train and multiple high-speed rail science and technology innovation projects. To ensure the successful development of the new generation of high-speed trains, it is necessary to conduct extensive simulation calculations, bench tests, and line tests on the new technological components of the new generation of high-speed trains.
This performance verification test was jointly carried out by relevant units of the Railway Science and Technology Innovation Alliance organized by China Railway Group, China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd., CRRC affiliated enterprises, Beijing Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Central South University, etc. 57 scientific research tests were carried out to verify the technical feasibility and performance stability of the new technology components of the CR450 high-speed train.
The person in charge pointed out that since the start of the experiment, all work has progressed smoothly and data characteristics of new technology components have been obtained under different speed conditions and different working conditions such as bridges, tunnels, and curves. The performance verification test under higher speed operating conditions shows that the application of new technologies has achieved new improvements in the relevant indicators of high-speed trains. Important indicators such as safety, power, energy consumption, vibration, acceleration performance, and braking stability of high-speed trains will continue to lead the world, providing important support for the development of CR450 high-speed trains with higher speed, safer, more environmentally friendly, more energy-saving, and more intelligent capabilities. It is of great significance for achieving high-level technological self-reliance and strengthening of railways, consolidating and expanding China's world leading advantages in high-speed trains.
