Ji Guogang, the former member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Xizang Autonomous Region People's Congress, was suspected of taking bribes and abusing power by personnel of state-owned companies. The investigation was concluded by the State Supervision Commission, and was handed over by the Supreme People's Procuratorate. The case was examined and prosecuted by the Chengdu Municipal People's Procuratorate of Sichuan Province. Recently, the Chengdu People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Chengdu Intermediate People's Court.
The procuratorial organs informed the defendant Ji Guogang of his litigation rights in accordance with the law during the review and prosecution stage, interrogated him, and listened to the opinions of the defense counsel. The prosecution alleges that the defendant Ji Guogang, taking advantage of his position as assistant inspector of the Investment Department of the former National Development Planning Commission, assistant inspector and deputy director of the fixed assets investment Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, members of the Party Leadership Group of the People's Government of the Xizang Autonomous Region, secretary, deputy director, deputy secretary and director of the Party Leadership Group of the Xizang Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, chairman of the Xizang Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd., deputy director of the standing committee of the Xizang Autonomous Region People's Congress and other positions, or taking advantage of his power and position to seek benefits for others, illegally accepted other people's property in a particularly large amount; When he concurrently served as the chairman and legal representative of Xizang Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd., he engaged in malpractices for personal gain and abused his power, resulting in particularly heavy losses to national interests, and shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law for the crime of accepting bribes and the crime of abuse of power by personnel of state-owned companies.
