He collided with Shuai Moumou, who crossed the road from north to south via a pedestrian crossing. At the time of the incident, Shuai was driving a two wheeled electric vehicle and riding on his wife behind it. The accident resulted in three injuries and varying degrees of damage to both vehicles.

After the incident, Gu Moulin reported to the police and sent the injured person to the hospital with an ambulance. He arranged for his wife to assist the hospital in rescuing the injured person before leaving. At around 20:00 on the same day, Shuai passed away despite rescue efforts at the 3201 Hospital in Hanzhong City. Gu Moulin arrived at the office at around 8:30 the next day. On June 9th, commissioned by the Traffic Police Brigade of the Nanzheng Branch of the Hanzhong Public Security Bureau, the Jinhua Traffic Accident Traces and Evidence Forensic Appraisal Institute in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province issued a "Forensic Appraisal Opinion" on the traffic accident, which showed that the white sedan and electric vehicle involved were "damaged by the collision, but there were no other abnormalities".
According to the Judicial Appraisal Opinion, at 15:44:50 on the day of the incident, the left front of vehicle A collided with the right side of vehicle B. The appraisal opinion shows that the driving speed of vehicle A at 15:44:49 on the video screen is about 81km/h. Jia Che is a white small sedan driven by the driver of the accident, Gu Moulin.
Mr. Shuai told reporters that the speed limit at the location of the incident is 60 kilometers per hour.

The family of the deceased told reporters that what made them even more angry was that the perpetrator did not contact them after the incident, nor did they come to visit their mother who was still receiving treatment in the hospital. During this period, only Gu Moulin's father-in-law met and talked with them once, telling them that in addition to compulsory insurance, they were willing to compensate 100000 yuan.
