According to the article, on June 26th, the bribery case of Luo Yong, former Secretary of the Party Branch and President of Tanzhou People's Hospital in Zhongshan City, was publicly heard. More than 60 party members and cadres from the city's health system and the unit where the case occurred attended the scene, deeply alerted and educated.
The article reveals that as the director of the People's Hospital, Luo Yong, who was supposed to be a compassionate doctor and save the world, lost his original intention and was driven by greed. From receiving patient red envelopes and kickbacks from medical representatives to forming an "interest alliance" with medical equipment suppliers, he collected high kickbacks from equipment agents, involving a total amount of over 29.8 million yuan. According to public data, Luo Yong, male, Han nationality, was born in October 1974 in Shunde, Guangdong Province, with a postgraduate degree, started work in August 1997, and joined the CPC in December 2017. He has served as the Vice President of Zhongshan People's Hospital, Secretary and President of the Party Branch of Tanzhou People's Hospital in Zhongshan.
In November 2022, the Zhongshan Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision announced that Luo Yong, Secretary of the Party Branch and President of Tanzhou People's Hospital in Zhongshan, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law. He is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Zhongshan Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
