Along the Niyang River, mountains are verdant. Gala Village, Linzhi Town, Linzhi City, Xizang's "First Village of Peach Blossoms", is located at the foot of the Niyang River at the foot of mountains. Tibetan folk houses are scattered among them. Peaches, plums, apples and grapes are planted in every family's yard. They are yellow and green with fireworks.
"Gala Village is famous for its mountainous and wild peach forests, with a total area of over 270 acres and 1253 wild peach trees, earning it the reputation of 'Peach Blossom Village'." Chen Dixiong, a member of the Linzhi Town Party Committee and Propaganda Committee, told reporters. Gala Village, located along the 318 National Highway, has a total of 33 households and 149 people. Due to the surrounding mountains on both sides and the murmuring high mountain snow water flowing through this village, peach blossoms bloom on the banks every spring, hence it is also known as the "Peach Blossom Gully" by the locals.
Following the clean slate road, we walked into the house of villager Dawa Jianshen. On both sides were spacious and bright Tibetan style buildings, with wild peach trees scattered in a neat and orderly manner in front and behind the houses. The branches were covered with small green peaches, which were adorable. "Our family's annual income is over 300000 yuan. The main sources of income include peach blossom economic dividends, transportation, land transfer, forestry subsidies, and animal husbandry," said villager Dawa Jiancan.
