The Ministry of Transport has launched defense against Typhoon I in response to Xiamen City, Fujian Province | Center | Typhoon
According to the forecast from the Central Weather Bureau, Typhoon No. 5 of this year, "Dussuri", was located at 21:00 on July 27th on the northeast sea surface of the South China Sea, about 305 kilometers southeast of Xiamen City, Fujian Province, with a maximum wind force of 16 near the center. It is expected to move towards the northwest direction at a speed of about 15-20 kilometers per hour, with a slight increase in intensity. According to the Comprehensive Emergency Plan for Transportation and the relevant procedures for typhoon defense, the Ministry of Transportation has adjusted the typhoon defense response level to Level I response.
As of 8:00 today, there have been no reports of road flooding caused by the impact of the typhoon, and there has been no widespread vehicle congestion. Affected by the typhoon, all highways in Xiamen, Zhangzhou, and Quanzhou in Fujian Province have been temporarily closed, with 16 sections implementing mainline diversion control measures; 25 toll stations in Longyan area have been temporarily closed, and 7 road sections within Zhejiang have been temporarily restricted or closed; 13 road sections within Guangdong have been temporarily closed.
