In response to the strong rainfall caused by the residual cloud system of Typhoon "Dussuri" moving northward to North China, the Yellow River and Huaihe River, which may have adverse effects on agricultural production, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has launched a Level 3 emergency response for major natural disasters in agriculture on the 30th, based on the early warning notice issued.
According to emergency response requirements, provinces and cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, and Henan should strengthen emergency duty, closely monitor and evaluate disaster situations, implement detailed flood control and disaster relief measures, clean and dredge ditches in advance, inspect and reinforce planting and breeding facilities, identify safety hazards, and prepare emergency drainage equipment.
The emergency response proposed that relevant regions should organize working groups and technology teams to package counties, townships, and households, guide disaster areas to timely drain accumulated water, strengthen classification management, scientifically apply fertilizers, strengthen disease and pest prevention and control, promote the restoration of normal plant growth as soon as possible, and adjust the planting and replanting of short growth period crops according to local conditions for flooded and harvested fields, in order to minimize disaster losses.
