During this year's Children's Day, 40 Tibetan children who grew up in welfare homes completed their first trip to Beijing in the attention of the domestic and foreign media. From Yushu to Beijing, crossing an altitude difference of 4500 meters and a distance of 2500 kilometers, this is a dream chasing journey for 40 Tibetan children, as well as a collaborative effort of all sectors to gather love and convey warmth in helping their dreams.

On June 8th, at the "Gathering Love and Passing Warmth - Youth Public Welfare Activities Seminar in Ethnic Areas", multiple people shared the small story behind the "Qinghai Yushu Tibetan Youth Beijing Tour". The attending experts discussed how to use mainstream media to gather the power of social morality and goodness, and jointly help children's public welfare in ethnic areas.

Three quietly rooted "seeds"

The trip of 40 Tibetan children to Beijing began on May 30th. On that day, 40 children from Yushu Prefecture Children's Welfare Institute in Qinghai Province set off to participate in the "Three Rivers Source, Beijing Emotion, Chinese Heart - Qinghai Yushu Tibetan Youth Beijing Tour" organized by China News Agency, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture People's Government in Qinghai Province, Beijing Youth Aid Command, hosted by China News Network, and co organized by China Singapore Public Welfare.

During the 5-day trip, the children checked in at the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Bird's Nest, and Water Cube, visited the Chinese Ethnic Community Experience Hall, Central University for Nationalities, and Central Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe, played football friendly matches with Beijing Guoan Youth Team, and even stood as caddies on the Chinese Super League field.

"The trip of 40 Tibetan children to Beijing is actually three special journeys: a study tour of the motherland, a football dream realization tour, and a national unity tour." The relevant person in charge of the organizer introduced that the seeds of patriotism, confidence and self-improvement, and national unity can take root and sprout in the hearts of the children. This is the original intention of this public welfare activity and the result that the organizers hope to see the most.

In just a few days of Beijing's dream realization, "seeds" quietly took root in the hearts of children. For example, at the Beijing Workers' Stadium, after playing for the first time in a professional stadium, Abin, also known as "Yushu Cristiano Ronaldo," strengthened his confidence in becoming a professional player; After watching a large-scale cultural performance live for the first time at the National Grand Theatre, 7-year-old Ju Anzhuoma had the dream of "growing up to be a dancer"; After entering the university campus for the first time, Dan Zeng Zhuoma, a fourth year student, set a small goal: to score 95 in mathematics next semester and become a university mathematics teacher in the future.

"National unity" is the most distinctive symbol of these Tibetan children's trip to Beijing. The children are tracing their historical footprints at the former site of the Mongolian Tibetan School, learning various ethnic dances at the Central Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe, listening to lectures from professors at the Central University for Nationalities, and having a reunion with Beijing children on June 1st

Tracing back on this journey of pursuing and fulfilling dreams, leaving behind many vivid details. On the evening of June 2nd, six Tibetan children boarded the Chinese Super League as caddies. That night, Ge Qi, Vice President of Zhonghe Group, sat in the stands with the children. He said that listening to these Tibetan children with sparkling eyes shouting "national security", one can feel their passion for football and persistence in their dreams.

40 Tibetan children who came to Beijing for the first time not only felt warmth, but also conveyed it to more people. When he first saw a professional stadium at the new factory, "Yushu Cristiano Ronaldo" Abin sighed, "It turns out that the ground of the professional stadium is so soft. No wonder Ronaldo didn't feel any pain when he skated and knelt to celebrate."

Upon hearing these words, Zhang Sihua, the administrative director of Beijing Guoan Football Club, felt a wave of warmth in his heart. He shared at the seminar that Tibetan children naturally exude a sense of happiness and joy on their faces during matches on the field. The simple and sincere love for football has infected all the participating young players and coaches on site. "This is a precious experience for us," he said.

Zhang Sihua said, "During the Chinese Super League match, when we saw some teenagers on the stands crying excitedly, it made us feel that everything we did was worth it."

During this journey, several teenagers from Beijing also participated as volunteers. During this trip to Beijing, Tibetan children were also invited to perform the song "The Country" with the soprano singer and national first-class actress Liu Yuanyuan from the Central Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe. The sincerity, simplicity, kindness, and sunshine emanating from the children deeply moved Liu Yuanyuan. "A little girl told me that her dream when she grows up is to become a singer, and her words deeply touched me."
