The main production area has cumulatively purchased over 38 million tons of wheat materials | grain | main production area
Our newspaper, Beijing, July 24. The reporter learned from the State Grain and Material Reserve Bureau: As of July 20, various grain enterprises in the main producing areas have purchased more than 38 million tons of wheat, completing about 60% of the expected peak season purchases.
The current wheat acquisition has three main characteristics: firstly, the overall progress of the acquisition is smooth. In the early stages of the launch of Xinmai, some main production areas experienced continuous rainy weather, and the listing time was delayed compared to usual, and the acquisition progress was also slightly slower. Recently, wheat purchases have entered a stage of concentrated increase in quantity, with a daily average purchase volume at a relatively high level in recent years. The current purchase progress is basically comparable to the same period in recent years. Secondly, the market is relatively active in purchasing and selling. Flour processing, feed, reserve and other enterprises seize grain sources to meet their own production and operation needs; Trade enterprises actively purchase and increase inventory to further stimulate market vitality; Farmers choose opportunities and prices to sell grain, and the wheat market presents a good situation of both purchase and sales. The third is that the acquisition price remains stable with some increase. The price for weighing new wheat is around 1.35 yuan per kilogram, and the current average purchase price in the main production areas is around 1.39 yuan per kilogram, providing farmers with more guaranteed income from selling grain. It is expected that the overall price of wheat will remain stable in the later stage, and there will be no minimum purchase price acquisition.
In order to effectively carry out this year's summer grain procurement work, relevant departments of the country held a work meeting in advance, issued purchase notices, and made comprehensive arrangements and deployments for summer grain procurement. The State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves has issued a notice to guide various regions to explore and promote pre purchase based on local conditions, improve the efficiency of grain purchase work, and encourage farmers to queue less and sell grain quickly. Various regions have conscientiously implemented the requirement of equal responsibility between the Party and government for food security, refined measures, and consolidated responsibilities. Provinces such as Henan and Anhui have introduced targeted policies to address the impact of rainfall, achieving positive results.
