His basic physical fitness was not good, so he filled a mineral water bottle with sand and tied it to a bullet bag. He persisted in carrying weight every day and in just one month, he wore out two pairs of rubber shoes, achieving excellent physical performance; He repeatedly delves into details such as reversing, threading, and turning to ensure that the direction and braking are accurate to every meter per second, and at least three passing methods are learned in each lesson due to non-standard operation actions. With this hard work and determination, he proficiently mastered the driving operations of all the regular car models in the team, and became the youngest coach in the team before the age of 19.
At the end of 2021, in order to challenge a new field, Xiang Yuedong resolutely chose to leave his familiar position and become a squad leader in the heavy-duty transportation company. In order to quickly master the skills of heavy-duty driving, Xiang Yuedong began his apprenticeship journey. He took the initiative to find Yang Zhao, the veteran of the platoon, and asked him for one-on-one guidance and assistance. Through reviewing recent driving training, he focused on analyzing his best operating procedures, extracting experience and methods, and carefully writing lesson plans.

At the beginning of serving as the head of the pre training coaching team, in order to quickly improve teaching and training abilities, accumulate experience in leading troops, actively signed up to participate in the teaching training organized by the unit with Yuedong. At the beginning of the training, each member of the team was assigned an assignment - to write a lesson plan.
During the training break, he teamed up with three comrades to discuss and improve lesson plans, constantly researching the best methods for teaching demonstrations. During break time, they act as instructors and judges for each other, giving trial lectures and teaching each other. Every word and sentence is carefully considered until the lesson plan is explained clearly and smoothly, even if the night is already deep.
