The contradictory wording of "no casualties" and "injured actors have been sent to the hospital" has caused confusion among many netizens.
The Xiaoxiang Morning Post previously reported that a staff member from the Burn and Plastic Surgery Center of Taiyuan Iron and Steel General Hospital told reporters that the injured person who came to Wujinshan Carnival Valley is "currently living in a critical condition, and we are not aware of the situation", and said that his fever is "very serious".
According to public information, the Royal Circus of Wujinshan Five Kingdoms began its performance in 2016 and is located in the Happy Valley of Wujinshan. In 2017, its performance venue was upgraded and has been one of the amusement projects in the scenic area.
