Yesterday, the State Administration of Mining Safety held a press conference to introduce the ongoing nationwide "big bottom-up" campaign to conceal mining accidents. The Ministry of Emergency Management and the State Administration of Mining Safety dispatched two working groups to Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province and Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, to supervise the on-site inspection of the concealment of the Jingcheng Iron Mine accident in Xinzhou, Shanxi Province and the investigation of the concealment of the Honglin Coal Mine accident in Fuxin, Liaoning Province.

At present, the investigation and verification of the series of concealed accidents at Jingcheng Iron Mine in Xinzhou, Shanxi is still ongoing. The investigation into the concealed accident at Honglin Coal Mine in Fuxin, Liaoning has been basically completed, and a report on the accident investigation is currently being drafted.

The National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau is solidly carrying out the "big bottom-up" action of concealing mining accidents. Urge all regions to reorganize the mine accident reports received by their respective systems since 2000 and the accident reports and verifications assigned by the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, accurately crack down on the behavior of concealing accidents, and increase the reward for reporting.

Establishing a reporting hotline to block the source of concealment
Previously, the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau's safety production reporting hotline had been established. On the basis of the unified national safety production reporting and complaint hotline 12350, the mine safety production reporting hotline was prominently displayed on the website: 010-64463182010-64463011. The reward for reporting was increased, and the supervisory role of all sectors of society in mine safety production was fully utilized to block the source of concealment.
