Beijing, June 14th - June 15th marks the 100 day countdown to the opening of the Hangzhou Asian Games. On the 14th, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the preparations for the Hangzhou Asian Games and the Asian Para Games.
Zhou Jinqiang, Vice Chairman of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sport of China, and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Olympic Committee, introduced at the press conference that currently, all 45 Asian countries and regions have signed up for the Olympic Games, many of which have sent the largest sports delegation in history. Asian athletes from various countries and regions are full of anticipation for the Hangzhou Asian Games and eagerly look forward to coming to China and Zhejiang to jointly participate in the grand event. This fully demonstrates that the Hangzhou Asian Games is an important platform for Asian sports unity and cooperation, and also demonstrates the remarkable achievements and strong attraction of China's high-quality economic and social development since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
The Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, as well as six competition areas including Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou. At present, all 56 competition venues have completed the functional acceptance of the competition and have the ability to operate the competition. The Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee fully combines event preparation with serving the public. After the Asian Games were postponed due to the epidemic, all Asian Games venues were opened to the public. As of now, more than 8 million citizens have been received for fitness. After the Asian Games, various competition venues will continue to adhere to the principle of benefiting the people and opening up, and regularly organize sports events, cultural performances and other activities to further meet the needs of the people.
Li Yanyi, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, introduced that the Asian Games will strengthen professional and meticulous service guarantees. Build a comprehensive service guarantee system covering all aspects of the event, including concierge, arrival and departure, transportation, accommodation, and medical care, and create the first digital observation service platform in the country, providing one-stop online services for ticket purchase, travel, observation, and tourism for Asian Games spectators. At present, 50000 competition volunteers and 1.42 million city volunteers have been recruited and trained, striving to make guests feel the comfort and warmth of home in Zhejiang.
Yao Gaoyuan, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee and the Asian Disabled Persons Organizing Committee, and Mayor of Hangzhou, introduced at the press conference that the entire process of intelligent preparation for the Asian Games will be carried out. Iteratively upgrading the digital competition platform "Asian Games Online", creating a one-stop digital observation service platform - "Intelligent Asian Games One Stop", launching the first digital torchbearer in the history of the Asian Games, launching the Asian Games PASS, and implementing applications such as autonomous driving and intelligent public transportation, using digital means to improve the efficiency of preparation work and service guarantee, fully demonstrating the achievements of "Digital China" construction.
