Combined with lightweight body and overall energy-saving technology, a single train can save about 1.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year.
The reporter saw that the appearance and interior of the train are themed around moistening Jiangnan, integrating urban landscape elements such as Hangzhou's pink walls, black tiles, and the surging Qianjiang River with high-speed trains. The vehicle is an 8-car, 4-motor, 4-trailer power distributed multiple unit, designed for a speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a capacity of 578 passengers. It was purchased by Zhejiang Transportation Group and has the characteristics of customization, green, intelligence, and comfort.
During the Hangzhou Asian Games and the Asian Para Games, the intelligent high-speed train for the Asian Games will be put into operation as a rail transit service between Hangzhou and five Asian Games co hosting cities, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou.

In addition, the carriage has achieved full coverage of 5G+WiFi network, and through the application of Ethernet control vehicle technology, the data transmission speed of the Asian Games intelligent EMU has been increased by more than 60 times. A vehicle mounted WTD system based on full frequency band 5G technology is adopted, and a vehicle mounted safety monitoring system, fault prediction and health management system are applied to build a "vehicle ground integrated" big data analysis platform, providing real-time operational support for the Asian Games intelligent EMU.
