On the early morning of June 22nd, the last box girder of the newly built Jinhua Ningbo Railway main line accurately landed on the Yinfeng Right Line Extra Large Bridge, marking the completion of the main line girder erection of the first double decker container transportation pilot line in China - Jinyong Railway, opening up a channel for track laying and bridge deck construction along the entire line.
The Jinyong Railway is jointly constructed by China Railway 12th Bureau, starting from Yunlong Station on the Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Railway in the east and ending at Yiwu Station in Jinhua City on the Shanghai Kunming Railway in the west. The new main line has a total length of about 188.3 kilometers, with a designed speed of 160 kilometers per hour and a reserved speed of 200 kilometers per hour. It is a Class I electrified railway with dual track passenger and freight lines. After the opening and operation of the future railway, it will achieve interconnectivity between the world's small commodity capital Yiwu and the world's major port Ningbo Zhoushan Port.
