The effectiveness of theme education should be evaluated by the masses | Socialism | Effectiveness
Since the launch of the theme education, party organizations at all levels have resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, firmly grasped the overall requirements of "learning ideology, strengthening party spirit, emphasizing practice, and building new achievements", and educated and guided party members and cadres to make efforts in using learning to shape their souls, enhance their intelligence, improve their conduct, and promote their work. At present, the first batch of theme education has entered the final stage, and timely scientific and objective evaluation of its effectiveness is not only a powerful supervision, but also to better move forward.
This series of clear requirements is a scientific application of our party's concentrated learning and education experience, fully demonstrating our party's excellent tradition of seeking truth and pragmatism and political character, and providing a strong guarantee for promoting theme education to continuously deepen and implement.
The era is the examiners, we are the respondents, and the people are the examiners. From making "practicing the purpose for the benefit of the people" an important goal task of this theme education, to repeatedly emphasizing "standing firm in the people's position", "being good at thinking, making decisions, and handling things from the perspective of the Party and the people, and the overall work of the Party and the state", "enhancing the ability to promote high-quality development, serve the people, and prevent and resolve risks", and "establishing a political achievement view that benefits the people", adhering to the principle of putting the people first is a clear and consistent direction.
Therefore, evaluating the effectiveness of theme education cannot be self talk. It is necessary to open the door, widely listen to the opinions of the masses, sincerely let the masses evaluate the work, consciously accept the supervision of the masses, and let the people feel the new changes and effectiveness brought by theme education. Only by listening to the voices of the people and observing their emotions can we find the real problems in the hearts of the people, ensure the objectivity and truthfulness of the evaluation, and clarify the "focus points" for further optimization and improvement.
When the masses look at thematic education, they first look at whether the problem is accurately identified. Party members and cadres should have the courage to face problems head-on, and should not perfunctorily deal with ambiguous "universal problems" or casually address some trivial "minor problems".
The public is more concerned about the authenticity of the proposed strategies when it comes to theme education. Party members and cadres should closely monitor the list of issues, be responsible, dare to confront challenges, and dare to take risks, breaking the cycle of "annual inspections, annual reforms, and annual presence". We must adhere to the unity of problem orientation, goal orientation, and result orientation, refine practical and feasible rectification measures, combine "immediate improvement" with "long-term establishment", and combine surface problems with point problems. We must ensure that responsibilities are assigned to individuals and specific departments, and that one item is accepted and one item is cancelled, to ensure that problem rectification truly bottoms out, sees the situation, and achieves results.
Be cautious until the beginning, then there will be no failure.
