Recently, floods and waterlogging in Jilin, Heilongjiang and other areas have gradually subsided. Local party members and cadres have taken the lead, leading the masses to continue fighting and promoting post disaster reconstruction, striving to restore production and living order as soon as possible.
In Jilin, the Party Committee of State Grid Jilin Electric Power Co., Ltd. fully guarantees the post disaster electricity demand, strengthens the support capacity of the backbone network, and party members and cadres lead the majority of employees to actively provide power service guarantees in the disaster stricken areas. In order to ensure the reliable operation of the backbone power grid in the province, State Grid Jilin Electric Power Company has carried out post disaster special inspections on 500 kV power transmission lines in the province. As of now, a total of 28 lines have been inspected, more than 100 hidden dangers have been eliminated, and more than 180 meters of "Jitou" embankments have been built for the foundation of iron towers to prevent flood erosion. Three sets of solar online monitoring devices have been installed.
In Yushu, Changchun, the power supply company organized 9 campus safety and power supply service teams to conduct carpet style hazard inspections on the power lines and equipment of 9 townships and 10 primary and secondary schools affected by the flood, ensuring the safety of campus electricity use. In Shulan Kaiyuan, a party member volunteer service team composed of power supply employees worked tirelessly for three consecutive days to replace the flooded indoor wiring for the Liudi Village Grain and Rice Processing Plant, and helped the factory inspect and repair electrical equipment. In Fuyu, Songyuan, the power supply company assisted returning residents and enterprises in conducting safety inspections of indoor circuits, electrical equipment, and household appliances as soon as the power supply was fully restored. They installed 7210 circuit breakers with leakage protection functions for users free of charge, ensuring that they can use "reliable and safe electricity".
To help the disaster stricken people recover their production and life as soon as possible, various institutions of Postal Savings Bank Jilin Branch have also taken swift action and provided strong support. For situations where repayment difficulties are caused by disasters, Postal Savings Bank of China Yushu Branch will provide support such as loan extension without principal repayment and delayed repayment to help disaster affected customers resolve overdue risks. Postal Savings Bank Shulan Branch has formed multiple customer follow-up and condolence groups to carry out "one household, one policy" assistance work in an orderly manner. For loan applications from customers in disaster stricken areas, we will receive and accept them in accordance with the principle of "urgent and special", in order to maximize the efficiency of financing support. Since the disaster occurred, the organization has provided 143 operational loans to small and micro enterprises and individuals involved, and donated a total of 100000 yuan through the Jilin Charity Association and the Shulan Red Cross Society to support local disaster relief and post disaster reconstruction.
In Heilongjiang Province, Party members and cadres of the Harbin Emergency Management Bureau have been fighting hard on the front lines of flood prevention and post disaster reconstruction in recent days, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, and helping to restore living order in disaster areas. The Harbin Emergency Management Bureau organized the command center, forest fire brigade, and social rescue forces to successively move to Shangzhi City, Yanshou County, and Shuangcheng District, and organized the construction of dams to intercept floods and search for and rescue the masses.
The Harbin Emergency Management Bureau has dispatched a working group to Chonghe Village, Zhenzhushan Township, Shangzhi City to carry out flood prevention, disaster relief, and post disaster reconstruction work. The working group, together with officials dispatched by Shangzhi City, officials from Zhenzhushan Township, and the secretary of Chonghe Village, established a temporary party branch and immediately headed to the most severely affected areas for on-site inspections. The flood control working group of Chonghe Village also organized party members, cadres, and the masses to fully carry out post disaster recovery and reconstruction work, and all washed out bridges, culverts, and road sections have been restored to traffic.
